This is an original painting of a ballerina performing, painted with a light, delicate palette of blues, lilacs and soft greys. Ballet is possibly my favourite subject, I always love the challenge of capturing the graceful, delicate movements of the dancer, and the way the dresses give me the chance to be more expressive with the paint.
